This section provides organizers suggestions and guidelines on running the overall event. For multi-day events, it is usually the case that the following processes are followed each day, and adapted as necessary.

  • Opening Circle offers an initial opportunity to stress the responsibility of community: everyone must engage and interact for the day to thrive.
  • Group Exercises are an excellent bridge between opening circle and agenda sessions.
  • Just as an opening circle can set a tone of community and collaboration for an event, Closing Circle serves summarize what has been learned and what is possible moving forward.
  • It is essential to create a safe and inviting environment for collaboaration and learning; one area of particular focus involves establishing proper etiquette for Cameras and Recording.
